Sculpture park Forma viva

The international sculpture symposium Forma viva began in 1961 at the initiative of sculptors Jakob Savinšek and Janez Lenassi. After ten years of dormancy, in 1998 Forma viva in Kostanjevica na Krki started operating again and is held biennially. Forma viva participants come from all over the world. The sculptures, which take a month to create, are placed in a beautiful natural environment, created from oak wood.
